A Nebraska native from Papillion, Bahl has become a national star through her dominance both in the circle and at the plate, helping elevate Nebraska back into the national spotlight.
After winning back-to-back Women’s College World Series championships at Oklahoma and earning 2023 WCWS Most Outstanding Player honors, Bahl returned home to Nebraska and authored one of the greatest seasons in NCAA history. In 2025, she became the first player in Big Ten history to be named both Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year in the same season, while also earning NFCA National Player of the Year, USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year, and First-Team All-American honors.
She hit 23 home runs with a .462 batting average while recording 26 wins in the circle, becoming one of only a handful of Division I players ever to achieve a 20-win, 20-home run season. Bahl continued her dominance in 2026 by winning Big Ten Pitcher of the Year for the second consecutive season, leading the nation in saves and earning Rawlings Gold Glove Pitcher recognition. She was also named the Honda Sport Award winner, recognizing her as the nation’s top collegiate softball player.
